Lets Eat

dog-tableI’m sure many of you will be saying that in the next few days as you sit down to your family’s Thanksgiving celebration.  While you may want to share the festivities with Fido, please don’t – or at least use your common sense and do so with major moderation.  There are many holiday foods that can actually be detrimental for your pet.  Fat from scraps can cause unhealthy weight gain and then joint issues, not to mention pancreatitis.  Cooked bones and corn cobs will quickly become a gastrointestinal nightmare and result in an emergency trip to your vet.  Keep your holiday happy, by keeping your pet safe and have a Happy Thanksgiving.  Read this article for more information on unsafe holiday goodies.
