Do Dogs Dream?

Of course they do, don’t be ridiculous. Scientists have discovered that canine brains are very similar to those of humans at the sMike & Dashtructural level.  Dogs will drift off to sleep and in about 20 minutes they will experience REM sleep, just like humans.  You may have witnessed your dog making twitching or running motions while asleep.  This is due to the fact that certain areas of the brain controlling muscle movement, are underdeveloped in dogs just like in human infants.  Nobody knows what they dream about.  I say, dog stuff like playing in the yard, or chasing a cat.  To learn more about this research, pop over to AKC’s Family Dog Mag.
